Technical Support - Security Alarm - Managed IP

Interface is seeking an experienced Technical Support Agent for Alarm Systems to join our talented team located in Earth City, Missouri.

Responsibilities of the Alarm System Technical Support Agent:

  • Provide level 1 troubleshooting technical support to customers with burglary, card access, fire and video systems;

  • Assists field technicians with programming, downloading and troubleshooting of alarm equipment that is installed and supported by Interface Security;Deliver superior customer service to internal and external customers;

  • Interact with personnel from different departments to explain system operation;

  • Assist customers with code changes to their alarm system;

  • Maintain a positive work environment;

  • Other duties as assigned by Management.  

Job Requirements

Qualifications of the Alarm System Technical Support Representative:

  • Prior call center experience required, ability to answer 100-200 incoming calls per day;

  • Prior field technician or technical support experience in the security industry preferred;

  • Experience dealing with low-voltage installation and support is preferred;

  • Must be a motivated team player with the ability to multi-task;

  • Computer, typing, and data entry skills required;

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule;

  • Must possess excellent customer service skills;

  • Must be dependable, analytical, accurate and detail oriented;

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Must be comfortable working with multiple software applications;

  • Honeywell training/certification preferred but not mandatory.
