Interface is now in search of a Problem Analyst to join our Secure Managed Broadband Team in Earth City, Missouri.  

Problem Analyst Responsibilities

  • Manage the full life-cycle of the Problem Management Process
  • Prevent problems and resulting incidents from happening, to eliminate recurring incidents and minimize impact of incidents that cannot be prevented
  • Lead root cause analysis activities to successfully identify root cause of problems
  • Proactively identify problem trends and work towards a permanent resolution
  • Track the implementation of problem resolution tasks
  • Work with Incident Management to ensure best practices are adopted.
  • Ensures appropriate vendor interaction in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Provide regular and reliable reporting of problem management data to meet management requirements.
  • Report and escalate to management on an as needed basis
  • Represents Interface Security Systems in a professional and positive manner in all situations
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by manager
  • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

Job Requirements

Problem Analyst Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation certified is preferred
  • 1-2 Years of Professional Business experience in Incident or Problem Management
  • Proficient in Excel and MS suite of applications is preferred
  • Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Have excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to an evolving environment
