SUMMARY: Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator's primary responsibility is ordering, managing and tracking shipments and returns associated with servicing Interface's National Accounts. Additionally, the position supports Interface field personnel, insuring they have the parts and materials required to service the Interface Customer base. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Process outbound shipping for service and installation;
  • Ensure service and installation shipping needs are met on a daily basis;
  • Manage reverse logistics of all returned parts; from recovery partners back to third-party logistics partners;
  • Track and resolve shipping, warehouse, and carrier shipping errors;
  • Conduct inventory counts as assigned;
  • Other tasks and duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent. College degree is a plus!
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, etc.);
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Self-directed, with ability to operate independently of regular direct supervision;
  • Ability to work well within a cross-functional team environment.

The employee must frequently lift objects up to 30 pounds that could include company materials, files, and small equipment.  Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus in order to view reports, computer screen, forms and operating manuals.

Work is performed indoors in a fluorescent-lit workspace at the employer’s office.
