Job Description

Interface is seeking to add a FAST Team Lead to our FAST department located in Earth City, Missouri. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for fire, burglary card access and CCTV systems.
  • Provide support for Field Technicians during installations and service calls.
  • Assist Field Technicians with programming, downloading and troubleshooting of equipment that is installed and supported.
  • Interact with personnel from a variety of internal departments and provide advice on a variety of systems functionalities and capabilities.
  • Continuously look for ways to remove unnecessary costs from service and communicate to management.
  • Provide input to Technical writer for Yonyx guide enhancements
  • Be point of escalation when FAST Director is unavailable.
  • Provide direction to FAST team when Director is unavailable.
  • Provide written reports to management as directed.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Previous FAST team experience and field technical experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Alarm and CCTV systems 


SKILLS and ABILITIES 

  • Excellent written communication
  • Ability to clearly communicate with Technicians via chat and phone
  • Highly motivated, detail oriented, organized, and possess the drive to work with a sense of urgency
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, especially Word and Excel
  • Proficient in CSHD

 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide direction to team when FAST Director is unavailable
  • Handle escalations from other departments, management, and customers

The employee is occasionally required to stand, crouch, kneel, climb or crawl to maintain files. The employee must frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds that could include company materials, files and small equipment.  Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus in order to view reports, computer screen, forms and operating manuals.

Work is performed indoors in a fluorescent lit workspace at the employer’s office.
