Interface is in search of an experienced data entry agent to join our talented Secure Operations team as an Account Creation and Maintenance Representative.

The Account Creation and Maintenance Representative is responsible and accountable for maintaining confidential customer information, creating and maintaining end user accounts, as well as providing exceptional customer service. This includes contact with internal and external customers, and various authorities such as police, fire, and commercial loss prevention departments.

The Account Creation and Maintenance Representative Duties:

  1. Maintain customer information in Manitou
  2. Use critical thinking skills to resolve problem accounts
  3. Process alarm panel code changes
  4. Update contact lists
  5. Work with internal employees to coordinate required documentation for customers upon sale or install, per city/county ordinance requirements.
  6. Point of contact for police/fire authorities for false alarm billing and tracking
  7. Communication with technicians and external customers via outbound and inbound phones calls and emails
  8. Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High-School diploma
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proficient in Manitou Automation Software
  • CRM/CSHD experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Police/Fire ordinance compliance preferred.
  • Data entry experience/ Security Industry Experience preferred.

SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work within set deadline.
  • Multi-tasking: (answering incoming calls and completing account updates simultaneously)
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to do research for city/county ordinance

Work is performed indoors in a fluorescent lit workspace at the employer’s office with minimal exposure to noise and adverse environmental issues.
