Interface is now hiring a Cash Application Specialist to join our talented Accounting & Finance Department.  

Cash Application Specialist Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV or experience with Organizational ERP system
  • CRM experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience related to Accounts Receivable

Cash Application Specialist Specific Job Duties

  • Prepare daily cash deposits and payments received from the bank
  • Verify and post accounts receivable transactions for a high-volume Accounts Receivable department
  • Post ACH and Credit card payments and return entries
  • Manage customer recurring auto-pay setup and payments
  • Assist with daily reporting of deposits and status of work to be completed, including printing and distributing information pertaining to current day’s work
  • Scan physical checks daily through a remote capture device
  • Monitor centralized email inbox to support both internal and external customers
  • Publish daily Lockbox and Remote Capture deposit totals
  • Provide payment support for revenue selections as part of annual and quarterly external audits
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned

Specific Difficulties for the Position

  • Lack of training and training of other personnel
  • Lack of training in other departments on how to properly utilize our systems and resources
  • Cash flow and budgetary constraints for personnel and software/hardware to meet deadlines
  • Issues with payment platform websites such as remote capture or lockbox

Physical Requirements

  • The ability to lift a box up to 50 lbs. in weight.
