SECURITY ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATION REPRESENTATIVE

The Security Account Administration Representative is responsible and accountable for maintaining confidential customer information, creating, and maintaining end user accounts, as well as providing exceptional customer service. This includes contact with internal and external customers, and various authorities such as police, fire, and commercial loss prevention departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create customer accounts in Manitou
• Interact with authorities to maintain permits for customers and address false alarm fines.
• Maintain customer information in Manitou
• Use critical thinking skills to resolve problem accounts
• Process alarm panel code changes
• Update contact lists
• Work with internal employees to coordinate required documentation for customers upon sale or install, per city/county ordinance requirements.
• Communication with technicians and external customers via outbound and inbound phones calls and emails
• Other tasks and duties assigned by Management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High-School diploma
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Proficient in Manitou Automation Software

While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to sit in an office environment. Employee is frequently required to talk or hear to interact with employees/clients. Employee is frequently required to use the telephone. Employee will frequently use a personal computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach. The employee may be required to lift objects up to 30 pounds that could include company materials, files and small equipment. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed indoors in a fluorescent lit workspace at the employer’s office with minimal exposure to noise and adverse environmental issues.
