Job Description

Interface Security Systems is seeking an experienced Network and UCaaS Product Manager to join our innovative Center of Excellence team in Earth City, Missouri. 


The Network and UCaaS Product Manager

The Product Manager will manage the Interface portfolio of network products which consists of managed broadband, SDWAN, managed firewall, managed switch, managed WAPs, PCI compliance as well as UCaaS products which include voice over IP, automated attendant, softphones, call detail reporting, video conferencing, and features such as Find Me Follow Me, voicemail, and voicemail-to-email.

The Product Manager is responsible for taking new ideas from the concept phase through production release, training of the operational teams, lifecycle management of the products, and vendor management.   Regular collaboration occurs with Product Innovation and Development, Product Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain functions, working especially closely with the Innovation and Development team on market research, monitoring competitive activity, and identifying market needs.


  • Market Champion: Overall responsibility for making the products within a market segment successful.
  • Market Research and Collection of Customer Requirements: Collects and coordinates market requirements from internal and external customers and provides input to the Product Innovation and Development team.
  • Perform competitive analysis on current or potential market segments.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in marketing materials.
  • Provide content for sales and marketing collateral to ensure product value proposition and messages are clear. Responsible for ensuring that product messages are consistent across products in the market segment.
  • Produce and provide sales and operational product training.
  • Manage vendors on an ongoing basis and coordinate contracts and partnership agreements.
  • Prioritize existing features available with existing vendors to determine which can and should be supported by Interface.
  • Prioritize requested new features from customers or from Interface Sales and coordinate with vendor development teams to add those features into their products.
  • Work with vendor and Interface software development team on any tools or integrations required to support that vendor’s product when sold by Interface as part of our managed solution.
  • Seek out and establish relationships with strategic vendors to improve product positioning, accelerate product launch, or act as a catalyst for new product opportunities.
  • Maintain Interface product catalog for products under management.
  • Manage the life cycle of multiple products.
  • Comply with all policies outlined in the Interface Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Product Management of Network and UCaaS products.
  • Understanding of WAN/SD-WAN/LAN network concepts and designs, networking components, networking software solutions, and operational.
  • Understanding of UCaaS voice-centric concepts (Cloud-based VoIP/SIP/ZTP) and other UCaaS applications (Auto Attendant, Video meetings, SMS Messaging)
  • Systems Integration experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.

Office setting. Sitting or standing at a desk with a computer keyboard, monitors, and desk phone. The company dress code is business casual.  Remote work is a possibility with occasional travel to corporate locations for meetings
