Interface Security Systems is seeking an experienced Customer Experience Advocate - Administrative Support

The Customer Experience Team at Interface Security is seeking an Administrative Support Advocate in Earth City, MO.  Headquartered in St. Louis, Interface is uniquely qualified to be the one source for safeguarding customer data, people, and assets. Position Details:

The Customer Experience Administrative Support Representative will partner directly with our customer-facing advocates, branch personnel, and the National Account team to gather all necessary details and documentation needed to process account modifications and support. This support is essential and required to maintain our goals of providing exceptional customer service, retention and to assist the team in maintaining revenue expectations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Process account adjustment documents including but not limited to: cancellations, rate reductions, credit/debit memos, check requests, scanning, document management tracking, routing and distribution, and record-keeping
  • Quickly and effectively work cases detailing corrections/changes that need to be made
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate information is being recorded
  • Partner with management to assist with special projects as needed
  • Build and complete sales orders
  • Create and run mail merge documents
  • Reception backup - Greet clients, answer and appropriately direct incoming calls, and assist daily office operations
  • Quality control of the managed process

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Efficient in Microsoft Office software tools, especially Excel
  • Smartsheet experience is highly desirable
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and formal presentation communications skills
  • The high degree of professionalism and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated, organized, and driven to work with a sense of urgency
  • Consistently present a positive attitude and excellent customer service to our internal customers
  • Display knowledge of terminology and services provided across the physical security industries
  • Must be able to work a variety of high-priority tasks to completion with minimal supervision

 Working Conditions:  

Office setting. Sitting or standing at a workstation with a computer keyboard, multiple monitors, and desk phone. The company dress code is business casual. 

Position type and expected hours of work:

This position is required to work at the company’s Earth City or Plano, Texas office during general flex business hours of 7 am-7 pm, Monday - Friday.  This position may be required to perform work duties in addition to the above business hours, depending on workload and deadlines.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach. The employee may be required to lift objects up to 20 pounds which may include company materials, files, and small equipment.  Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus in order to view reports, computer screens, forms, and documents.
